Community Policy Engagement

Bend-La Pine Schools values collaboration with students, families, staff, and community members when reviewing and updating district policies and regulations. As part of this process, proposed changes are shared publicly to encourage thoughtful feedback and transparency in decision-making.
Community members are invited to review proposed policy or regulation updates and provide comments during a public input period, which is generally open for two weeks following the initial review date. Feedback received during this time is considered by district staff and leadership as they refine proposals before final consideration and adoption by the School Board.
