Facility Rental

Thank you for your interest in renting a facility.

Individuals and community groups may schedule use of Bend-La Pine Schools facilities during non-school hours, as schedules permit and by permission at the school site. The facility user must agree to all District Terms and Conditions and a certificate of liability insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 naming Bend-La Pine Schools as an additional insured must be received prior to use.

  • District sponsored activities including co-curricular functions have priority.
  • We do NOT schedule events more than 6 months in advance.
  • A staff member must be present at all times for all outside use.

Please note the following guidelines when submitting your request:

  • Summer requests must be submitted by May 1 and are subject to availability based on cleaning schedules, construction projects, and staffing.
  • Fall requests should be submitted by June 1 to allow for approval before the summer break.
  • Schools may be closed to outside use due to end-of-the-school-year events from Memorial Day through mid-June.
  • Absolutely no alcohol, tobacco, vapes or drugs are allowed on school district property, indoors or outside. No exceptions.
  • Auditorium use approval is based on the availability of an Auditorium Manager (required for all use).* 

*Due to limited staff and auditorium availability we can not guarantee the approval of all outside use requests.

Prior to use of the facilities, applicants are required to submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance and agree to all Terms and Conditions for the use of our facilities.

Facility Use Site Rental

  1. An entire site rental only includes areas that are designated as rentable in the facility use system. Site rental does NOT include kitchens, offices or any other space that is not designated as rentable.
  2. A Site Supervisor is required for rental of an entire site and will be billed at $45 per hour as well as any applicable Facility Access Fees.

Custodial Fee

Custodial fees will be charged as needed to get the school ready prior to usage and after from groups of
any size utilizing any space.

Auditorium Managers

Auditorium Managers are required for the entire duration of rehearsals and events held in the auditoriums. Stage lighting, special sound equipment, lighting gels, etc., must be arranged through outside providers as approved by each school site and are not included in rental fees. In addition to the auditorium manager fee, there will be a minimum two-hour custodial clean up charge. Groups are responsible for any custodial charges above the two-hour minimum.
