Logging In

Students use their Bend-La Pine username and password via Clever.

On iPad: Open the Clever app and select College and Career.

On Browser: Go to app.schoolinks.com/login/k12 and click Log in with Clever.

Here is a list of activities you can do on SchooLinks
Feature Description How to Access
Find Your Path (FYP)
  • This is the first activity that students complete upon their first login to SchooLinks.
  • This is a career interest survey that provides career suggestions and explanations for those careers.
  • You can set your initial career goal.
  • This survey can be re-taken and post-secondary goals can be changed throughout high school.
  1. On the left hand side go to "Activities"
  2. Click on "Assessments"
  3. Start and complete the FYP survey

 

Feature Colleges How to Access
School Search
  • Search for schools with filters: school type, campus, admissions, acceptance, sports, degree type and others.
  • Search for schools by sorting: graduation rater, acceptance rate, tuition, distance, ranking.
  • Search by using the search bar: specific locations, majors, programs, schools etc.
  • Students can 'favorite' and 'add to list' as they look through schools.
  1. On the left hand side go to "Colleges"
  2. Select "School Search"
Favorites / List
  • This is the location of any schools that a student has 'favorited'.
  • Student can build their Final List from this location.
  1. On the left hand side, click on "Colleges"
  2. Select "Favorites & Lists"
Admission Stats
  • This page is a way for students to view how they stand in comparison to previously admitted students based on GPA and test scores.
  • Stats will be plotted on the graph to show students visually.
  • Data can be viewed in two ways:
    • National Data
    • District Data. This will take application data from students in Bend-La Pine Schools
  1. On the left hand side, click on "Colleges"
  2. Select "Admissions Stats"
College Applications
  • Available to 12th grade students
  • College Application Manager: Students will manage their application materials via SchooLinks

  • Students can search careers in six different ways:
    • Search Bar (specific career)
    • Career Center Homepage with regional information
    • Career Clusters
    • Hot Careers
    • Favorited Careers

  2. Select "Careers Center"
My Profile / Resume
  • Students can update their student profile and experiences
    • My Story

Feature Assessments How to Access
Would you Rather
  • Complete this career interest inventory to discover how your personality type matches with various career clusters.
  • Following the completion of the survey, students can explore careers and clusters and discover what programs or schools match your interests.
  1. On the left hand side go to "Activities"
  2. Click on "Assessments"
  3. Select "Start Assessment" under Would You Rather
Top Skills
  • This assessment is to support students in figuring out which skills are their strongest and determine careers that match those skills.
  • Following the assessment, students are presented with a breakdown and explanation of skills and careers that match their strongest skill sets.
  • Students will then be directed to Career Center learn more about those careers.

Social-Emotional Learning
  • This assessment measures a student's social-emotional strengths and needs. Students will respond to statements about themselves using a rating scale.
  • Upon completion of the assessment, students will be given results in 5 different categories.
  • There is no good or bad score, it is simply a reflection of how students are feeling at that point in time.
  • Students can retake to see how results change over time.

Learning Style
  • This is a career interest survey that assesses how students prefer to learn and solve problems.
  • This assessment provides students with results so that they can set themselves up for more effective learning in the future.

Self Discovery
  • An important part for students that planning for the future is figuring out more about themselves.
  • This activity allows students to reflect on a series of questions related to their personality.

How to Explore Careers
  • This is a great activity for students to complete before they embark on career searches.
  • This activity gives students an overview of how to explore careers.
  • Students will answer a variety of reflection questions.

Career Cluster Overview
  • This activity, broken up into two parts, brings students through the exploration of all the career clusters in SchooLinks.
