When to Keep Your Student Home
When your child isn't feeling well, use the guidelines below to decide whether they should stay home. Keeping sick students home protects classmates, teachers, and staff — and helps your child recover faster.

Illness guidelines
- Fever
- Cough
- Difficulty Breathing or Shortness of Breath
- Headache with Stiff Neck and Fever
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Skin Rash or Sores
- Eye Redness and Drainage

- Lice (live bugs)
